National Nurses Week begins on May 6 and ends on May 12, Florence Nightingale’s birthday. National Nurses Week was first observed in the United States in 1954, and was named a national week of recognition 20 years later.
Each month, to show our gratitude for our health care heroes, Consumer Direct Care Network recognizes a nurse who goes above and beyond. We are proud of the commitment and contributions of nurses in our communities. The hard work nurses do does not go unnoticed!
