The heart of Missoula can be felt every day through the gracious acts of our neighbors. One example of this is the anonymous community member who donates bikes to the Missoula County Sheriff’s Department. In return, the Sheriff’s Department gives the bikes to kids in need who are excited to receive a cool set of wheels to whiz around town. This incredible effort happens every year to bring holiday cheer to families who cannot afford bikes for their children. Additionally, it gives Law Enforcement the opportunity to positively engage with children and families, reminding us all that they’re here to support our community. This year we were glad to have a role by matching five kids with a sweet new ride. We look forward to seeing these happy riders with their new wheels exploring the neighborhood. Thanks to the anonymous donor and thanks to the Missoula County Sheriff’s Department for making this happen!
