A nurse with a mask under her chin in blue scrubs

National Nurses Week begins May 6 and ends May 12, Florence Nightingale’s birthday. National Nurses Week was first observed in the United States in 1954, and was named a national week of recognition 20 years later. This week is intended to shine a spotlight on the incredible nurses across the country who devote their lives to the betterment of others.

We are proud of the commitment and contributions of nurses in our communities. The hard work nurses do does not go unnoticed!
